I am trying to remove the head rest from the driver side front seat. I understand there should be release buttons on the back of the seat just below the steel posts of the headrest but I have not been able to locate anything that even feels like a button never mind two, one for each post.
Any help would be appreciated, I need to have the head rest recovered, I see that there is a zipper under the head reset to recover it but I have not been able to find any way to release the posts to lift the head reset.

 

I tried all kinds of things and could not figure it out.

 

It took a while but I did find the two buttons that lock the rods of the headrest and was able to remove it with no problem. They are a bit hard to find but they are there. If you reach behind the head rest from the front seat and on both sides just below and inside of the padding on the large upside down U shape created by the padding that completely outlines the seat you will find the buttons. Once pressed you will hear a click of the release of the lock.
