2007 Volvo S40 Rear View Mirror Mount
HELP!
Could someone please send a link to a picture of what the rear view mirror mount is supposed to look like when attached to the windshield properly? Mine fell off and the dealership reattached. I believe they glued it back on upside down. They told me to wait 24 hours before installing the mirror back on it. I went to do so and, as I state, it appears to be upside down. The mount part is sort of octagon shaped. I have looked online for hours and find no examples.
Thanks.

Correct Mount Button Position
Althoug this post has been a few years old it is the only one I could find when I was trying to glue my mirror.
I glued my button the same way and thought it was wrong. But after a few tries I figured out that you should position the mirror to a position where the mirror could fit in the button loosely (about 30 degress to the left of the final positon) then you turned the mirror base clockwise until the mirror is in the right position.
