Cost of repair
This is my first post, so please be kind if I've put it in the wrong place!
My 3 yr old V70 has developed a few annoying faults: the cruise control sometimes does not work, the alarm keeps sounding for no reason, the parking sensor activates too easily. Anyway, the Volvo mechanics found several faults, have kept my car over the weekend, and this will all cost >£400.
It seems to me although the car is now out of warranty, these faults should not have arisen so soon, and I should not have to pay so much. Can anyone give me advice on the longevity of these systems and whether I should need to pay for repairs or not? Or is this quite routine expense?
Many thanks
Duchess

Experts here can respond better than I. My .02 cents would be this. The age duration of the warranty is weak in the car industry. You are under the mileage duration of the warranty. At 4 yrs old and 30k miles, NOTHING should be going wrong! I'd solicit the dealer to help you contact Volvo directly and get it covered. JMHO. Good luck.
