Default Crank position sensor fault after timing belt change

Hello,

I just changed the timing belt on my 2002 V70 T5. Did plugs and an oil change also.
Drove the car to work 1hr. No problems, no faults- runs great.
On the way home I got a check engine light. OBDII gave me a crank position sensor fault.
I cleared the code and ran the car for a few minutes - no faults.
On the way to work this morning - no faults - stopped for coffee - started car - got fault code again!

Is it possible the belt slipped? Too much oil in the engine? I'll post the exact code tomorrow.

Thanks for your help!

Steve

Thanks Tech,
Code is p0016 - cam/crank position mismatch?
Thinking about it, must be the belt off a little.

I would say belt off a tooth or 2.

Got it!
Off one tooth. Runs fine now.
