Default help with understanding carfax descriptions

I've been looking at a few 2011-2012 xc60s and they have some common issues on the carfax report. They have all had their computer reprogrammed and 2 of 3 have had the interior trim checked. One of them had it checked on 3 different occasions. Another had the electrical system checked on 2 different occasions.

Are these common non-issues or something to stay away from? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

The wording on those reports is super generic. Best bet is to call the dealer that did the work and ask about the specific service history.

First you need to know what exactly was checked.

These are common non issues.

Generally, Carfax and Autocheck are quite, how should I put it, full of it! There is a lot of wrong info, there is a lot of info that never makes it in the reports, lots of hit and miss... I guess there is some helpful data that can be gleaned but overall, just another industry that muscled its way into the market to support neurotics' phobias--just another cost to add...

If possible, get the dealer to pull the service history. Carfax is bogus. I had an Acura that I sold with 148,000 miles. It was reregistered with 63,000 miles. When I told Carfax, they told me I was wrong. I offered shots of the odometer - and they still didn't budge.

Thanks for the advice. I purchased a 2011 cx60 3.2 with 20,000 miles for the wife. They replaced the windshield when another xc60 at the lot had a leak, so I shouldnt have to worry about that. So far, so good.
