I am buying a used 98 XC70 and it has seats that are leather but with a plastic chainmail type of material in the center. The problem is that both seats in the front have cloudy stains that have to be cleaned, and if that can't happen, need to be replaced. It seems as though the seats sat in salt water, but the owner says no and that they were like that when he gotit from the previous owner. 200K miles, engine basically rebuilt. Color code info is below. What would any of you recommend? I have linked a picture for the Ebayauction and the seats are pictured there. But the stains do not appear as apparent and colorful (whites and blues) asthey really are.Any idea how to get these stains out of the plastic material and would I be better off replacing the seats? If so, where would I look for salvaged seats to match?
