This is a message I am getting on my dash and does that have anything to do with my passenger side seat not working or is it a coincidence?

 

When I got that message it was my passenger seat airbag. I had to replace it.

If your seat does not work and you got that message I would say its related. All plug into the same big harness connector at the front of the seat. You can see it and disconnect/reconnect everything to do with that seat from that connector. Take a look maybe someone kicked it or you got something wedged in down there that disconnected it.
