Got them from a parts dealer in Bangkok , I got other stuff for the car from them earlier , so you think I am good to go even without the gaskets?

In short, a trip to the dealer for an ETM replacement is likely needed.

Can I reset the message "reduced engine performace" and get the triangle to go out?

I tried the pos 1 - trip reset - pos 2 - flashing light - ..... I got all of that but the message remains.

Thanks if you can help guys

Default Engine Issues with XC70 2005 modeal

Hello. I took my wifes Volvo into a mechanic, because the engine would "choke up" while she was driving. It is random, but it wants to stop accelerating and then it is fine two seconds later. The mechanie replaced the fuel filter, but this did not solve the problem. Their next step is to replace the fuel pump. I am curious if it is a computer issue? How can I find that out? Shouldn't the mechanic know this. The fuel light just came on today, but we have had the engine issue for two weeks. We are still driving the car.
