Exclamation 2005 XC90 Will Not Start! Need Help!

I have a 2005 XC90 with 169,000 miles. I went to leave for work one morning and the car stalled immediately after it started and I haven't been able to get it running again....it's been 3 weeks now. It ran just fine the day before. The temp was 32F the morning it died on me so I thought that maybe something was frozen. I had it towed 3 miles to a friends heated garage and there it's been sitting. It cranks over and sometimes sounds like it's going to start, but then it fades away and continues to just crank.

I borrowed a scanner and brought up these codes:

System
Codes
Description
Status
Central Electronic Module (CEM)
9C03
CEM-9C03 Antenna/light ring; Signal missing
Intermittent fault
Climate Control Module (CCM)
0004
CCM-0004 Passenger compartment temperature sensor; Signal too high/Signal missing
Permanent fault
Driver Door Module (DDM)
E010
DDM-E010 Control module; Internal fault

Engine Control Module (ECM)
340B
ECM-340B Inlet camshaft sensor; Signal missing
Permanent fault
Engine Control Module (ECM)
341B
ECM-341B Exhaust camshaft sensor; Signal missing
Permanent fault
Engine Control Module (ECM)
3410
ECM-3410 Exhaust camshaft sensor; Faulty Signal
Intermittent fault
Engine Control Module (ECM)
6200
ECM-6200 Engine cooling fan control module; Faulty signal

Passenger Door Module (PDM)
E010
PDM-E010 Control module; Internal fault

I replaced the antenna ring to eliminate the immobilizer possibility and the code cleared up. I cleared the rest of the codes and am left with fault codes for each cam sensor.

I tested the crank and cam sensors with my multi-meter and all 3 tested out for the correct voltage. I went ahead and replaced them anyway along with the battery. Still no luck.

I have 50+psi of pressure at the fuel rail. The injectors are pulsing and the new spark plugs are coming out wet. I also have spark. I removed the plugs several times to dry out the cylinders to eliminate flooding from all the cranking but still nothing.

The timing belt was last replaced at 105,000 miles but I thought maybe it jumped a few teeth. But when I got everything out of the way to verify, all 3 timing marks align as they are supposed to. Since I had the timing cover and pulley off I replaced the timing belt, idler pulley, and tensioner.

Then I moved on to compression and found that it's low ranging from 70-110psi. But even then it should start shouldn't it???

I then removed the solenoid valves and did a visual inspection for sludge build-up and there was a little but not anything to be concerned about.

Any ideas??? Should I be focusing on compression or an electrical issue? Could the timing be off even though the marks all line up?

I understand that the engine cranks. But do you know for sure that the battery is in operational condition to start the car?

I would disconnect the battery for at least 15 mins just to clear the ECU. Plug in the diagnistic tool and erase all fault codes. Then try to jump it unless you know for sure that battery is good. Then do another fault diagnostic.

I have this wild guess that your battery might be failing not to mention that the 32F temp might have just expedited it. Otherwise you might have an ECM or camshaft
sensor (s) issue.

Default 2005 XC90 Will Not Start! Need Help!

I tried jumper cables and installed a new Interstate battery. The cam sensors were also replaced. It would seem strange for both cam sensors to fail at the same time and with the new ones in it still doesn't start and the codes keep coming back. So it has to be something else that is setting off the codes, but I can't figure it out.

As I mentioned earlier, I replaced the crank sensor even though the old one tested good.
