Hi everyone. I recently bought a CPO 2017 XC90 T6 Momentum, and while reading through the owner's manual I found that "Volvo requires premium fuel (91 octane or
above) for best performance." As a question to others who own a 2017 XC90, do you use regular or premium fuel? I'm just curious if the "for best performance" line refers to the fact that using premium may increase fuel efficiency (albeit very slightly, I presume), or if the engine does, in fact, need premium fuel for proper operation and performance.

Also, could using standard fuel instead of premium fuel theoretically void the CPO warranty in the event that certain engine issues arise?

Admittedly, I'm not an "under the hood" expert, so I thought I'd check in with others who are a little more mechanically savvy.
