Turbo Leak, exhaust side 2005 2.5T
Hi guys, last week when I last had time to work on my car, I topped off the oil, and coolant. a week later, (plugs pulled, has not ran since Feb) So this afternoon, as I looked at my car, there was one leak, which meant I needed to do the thermostat housing, (again)when I went under the engine, I seen the next few photos explain it better. Mech at the local dealership, said if its not gushing, don't worry about it. (if you seen my first thread, you know I can not do that) I had seen a thread somewhere about Mitsubishi rebuild kit. I am not looking for that type of work, since I have no idea how to remove the turbo. Thanks guys

Thanks for the assist, I wish I would have known which Volvo site might have been more helpful. Here I go again.
Okay, its a week later, no response from anyone, based off of someones post, the suggestion was to take it to a turbo rebuild. I had three or four quotes. two shops that do them, went for $450 to $550. Garages that pull them, and sent them out, to one of those two shops, nearly a grand. The dealer ship stated he thought the price of a new turbo was about 1200. (USD)
After listening to the concern of two shops, I will take my turbo to the Diesel place. that does turbos. I hope this helps someone. after I get it back, I will post what the issue was.
Note: I had to remove a steel tubing, to get the turbo out. It ran Oil from the passenger side of the rear engine, to the turbo. (I don't know if its supply or return) I didn't see that anywhere on the FAQ i was using.

Okay, its fixed, the specialist replaced the bearings, and seals. Said the shaft was locked up. could be from sitting. he didn't see anything that would have given him the feel that it was spitting oil though to the intercooler, (and water the yellow colored fluid under the butterfly valve?)
