All,

My wife and I just purchased a 2004 XC90 T6 AWD with 44,500 miles on it. Unfortunately it did not come with an owners manual, so I will be contacting a volvo dealership to try and get one. In the meantime, does anybody have the recommended maintenence schedule for this vehicle? I have heard some things both good and bad about the reliability, so I want to make sure I stay on top of the maintanence.

I am still doing research, but if anybody would like to add some experiences or advice or helpful links about the car in general please feel free. So far it is a great vehicle (had it for 3 days now) and it shifts like butter and the engine runs smooth and I would like to keep it that way.

Hi. Volvo says 7500 miles per oil change.Oil changes are inexpensive so I do mine around every 3750 milesbased on Hi altitude, warmand dusty conditions (Colorado Rockies). Can't remember the major service intervals but I think there is one at about 35K and another around 45K (Volvo divided this one into two services) so you may be due for one of these. Enjoy your ride.
