Dear All,

I am currently stuck in Japan and trying to get out as fast as I can

I have spent over 11.5 years in the United States and that is where all my friends are.

With me on the other side of the Pacific, this forum is like 24/7/365 roadside assistance.

What has you stuck in Japan? Work? Why do you want to get out?

This forum is definitely a good place to "hang out."

Hi Tjay,

Sorry for delayed reply.

The immigration policy of the States is what is keeping me from coming "home".  Currently the immigration policy does not make much sense, as witnessed by "marriage abuse"; many people are entering the States and getting green card (I believe it is now coloured in pink) or citizenship, even without being able to communicate in English.  Well, what do I know.

The reason I want to get out or come back?  Well, I have spent my formative years in the States (I was 17 when I first came to the States), all my friends are Americans, I no longer have friends in Japan, and well, the list is quite endless.  Ah, my Snap-on tools are also resting at a friend's garage in Vermont.

I hope I answered your question.

Yup.  I hope you get to come "home" soon. I don't know much about the current immigration policy. My dad's side of the family came to the states in the late 1800's I believe and my mom's side came just before WWI. I'm sure it's changed considerably since then.

And yah, being away from Snap-on tools would be seriously hard!  I'm stuck with Craftsman for now... but hey, at least they still have the lifetime warranty!
