I picked up this gem in the summer of 2020 because the inline 5 engine interested me. Now it can be yours for $8300 OBO.

At that time AC wasn't great, the cutch pedal moved inconsistently, and the brakes didn't stop as quickly as I wanted them to (but more on that later).

AC is still the same. This wasn't a deal breaker for me, I drive it windows down on hot days anyways. Clutch pedal was inconsistent due to worn engine and transmission mounts. Engine mounts were replaced by me with Volvo parts and the Transmission mount was replaced with a beefier aftermarket part from a Ford Performance website because that's what everyone recommends on the forums. The brakes were not up to my level of satisfaction. I intended to to some racing with it so it has larger rotors from a Volvo SUV and bigger calipers and pads from Wilwood, good for street and light track duty. This kit also came with stainless steel lines. High temp DOT 5 brake fluid was used.

105,000 Mile major service completed: Timing belt and Water pump.

I intended to wrench on this car as many parts are shared with the Ford Focus ST and Mazdaspeed 3, then take it to the track, but I learned I much prefer the driving dynamics of a rear wheel drive car. So buy my Volvo before I modify it any more!

Other notes: Rear rotors and calipers were replaced with Volvo parts and the same street/track pads. I did this as peace of mind for a potential track car.

In boxes: I still have a Porsche Boxster throttle body (direct fit upgrade recommended on the forums), used brake master cylinder (my mechanic didn't like the 'feel', but said it wasn't leaking, so I picked up a spare), short shift kit (forum rec.) and a spare shifter because I thought I had to modify my original to fit a weighted shift ****.
