Description:

Clean car for its age. Having an electrical issue ( imagine that!! ) crank no start was intermittent and eventually became permanent. Threw the parts canon at it with no luck, eventually told by a reasonable trustworthy Mechanic that it needs an new ECM.
Good Paint, good interior, good motor and transmission, BKK wheels with New tires. Drove great with no engine or Trans issues plenty of power and a super smooth ride when it was starting. But with 2 kids in College and one about to go, the wife says it can't live in my driveway anymore.  I would rather see someone on here bring her back to life than ship her off to the scrap yard. So I will not refuse a reasonable offer. Back window has separated and she has been standing guard in my driveway for quite a while now and could use a good bath.

Check out Xemodex to see if they can help diagose a possible ECM or CEM issue. The repair may be easier than you think - send them your box, they rebuild and you reinstall. Did you ever have a dealer or certified Volvo tech with a VIDA tool do the diagnostics? ECM fails are pretty rare - more likely its a wiring harness / connector (corrosion can be cleaned up) or its a CEM problem (the CEM has micro relays which can fail which Xemodex will replace)
