2) is there a series of youtube video that are particularly good.
3) my ABS light come on and off every day, speedometer goes down.
where is the sensor, how to repair, etc.
Sincerely

Chilton repair manual reigns supreme. FCP Euro's Youtube channel has some great tutorials. Like thomaskpayne said though, Robert DIY is a fantastic resource. Robert DIY's videos cover everything from basic servicing, to total engine swaps on Volvos.
Issue you mention is most likely an ABS module failure. Unfortunately they're pretty expensive to buy from the dealer (best quality). You can find decent rebuilt ones on eBay for around $100. Those obviously aren't going to be as good as a brand new one, but will likely get rid of your issue.
The traction control system is also tied in with the ABS module, so it would be a good idea to take care of it before winter comes.
Rather than just throwing a new part at the car, there are other things you an check that are related to the ABS module. I'd say check fuses, as well as any lines/plugs going in and out of the module. Intermittent issue could be something as simple as a loose connection somewhere.
Module itself is on the drivers side beneath the fuse box. You'll see the brake pump and reservoir and stuff in the same area.

The 98 V70 is mechanically a Volvo 850, which helps a lot. The 99 V70 is not an 850.
Excellent factory service info for the 1995 850 is available here:

For mechanical stuff in my experience this is 100% applicable. The engine controls are also the same except for the OBDII troubleshooting codes (functionality is the same)
There are wiring diagrams at volvowiringdiagrams.com. They are really strange to decipher (virtually no words anywhere), so I hope you like a challenge.
