2000 V70 se transmission slipping

Up to running temperature after 30 min of driving at 40-60. 4 speed tranny turbo. Moving at 60 in 4th, no pressure on gas, holding steady with foot maintains 60. Normal downshift to 3rd with normal braking would happen around 30-25. NOW: At 60 mph, let off on gas slight and slow enough that a passenger wouldn't notice unless you brought it to their attention. 2-4 seconds doing that, tranny starts going into 3rd, still no less than 57-58. Gets to 3rd 100% but it took 5 seconds, still with gas at 1/2 throttle. The change was almost not detectable, never a bump harder than norm, in fact too smooth and soft, not 100% sure it didn't disengage between 3rd and 4th. Letting throttle off will keep 3rd engaged. Still in 3rd, give 1/2 throttle, 3rd stays engaged up to 60. Will not go back to 4th until flat ground with normal 60 coast, but it takes letting off slightly to get to 4th.

Pulling into lot, normal downshifting 4th to 1st at entry. Upshifting 1st to 2nd in parking 0 to 15 mph, normal. Open hood and coolant all over R side of engine and belt still squirting out and up as high as block and out compartment when getting on belt. No oil or tranny fluid in coolant. Nothing but coolant on ground, 1 cup with engine running at a stop and another cup after shut off. Engine off, loaded car on flatbed. Did not check tranny for any contamination. Oil ok and correct height, no detectable other fluids. Reservoir emptied. Gauges showed normal entire time.

Dealership said 5 leaks in 3 hoses and water pump. "5," I said. "All at once with pump too. One would think it would only take 1 to 2 hose leaks to stop a 3rd, 4th or 5th with pressure gone? and, the pump isn't 20k old with all hoses same time 20k ago. Is pump leaking from front, hose or at block?" Dealer, "I duno,,, that's what the tech said. And tranny is ok. And you need an axle seal L side." I said, "what/why were you over there. Hard to imagine that would have anything to do with it." Dealer, "Tech said, that's all." I put the car on bed and to another shop, another story, but car has not been worked on yet.

Read a story that front radiator also has tranny cooling there. An interior crack caused coolant to go to tranny (pressure forced). Didn't show that in my story but, maybe not there yet. Radiator also 20k old, installed new. A real piece of art, all plastic connections.
