99' v70 stall issue...
Good afternoon all,
I am newely reg. to this forum, though have visited many times for information. You all are great! :) I have an issue with my 99 v70 2.4. At any given time and temp it will stall out when coasting or breaking to a stop. Have had no codes pop up or stored until the other day a lean exhaust code came up. After it stalled out hours later when giving it a rev on restart it went out. could an O2 sensor be bad? I have replaced the fuel pump, filter, and I cant remember the name but its the small air relay that comes off the inlet to the throttle body and feeds into the intake above the fuel rail. I cleaned that a month ago and it seemed to go away and bam back with a wrath. It stills 200 feet down the road from my driveway or 20 miles... Please heeeeelllllpppp.... Thank you in advance, Danny |
Anyone?
Its now doing this going down the road cuts in and out no pattern at any speed... Any ideas from those who have "been there" already? |
It's your etm (electronic throttle managment) look it up just take the air cleaner out and the hose to your etm and spray throttle body cleaner or maf/map sensor cleaner all in the throttle body/etm and stick a toothbrushsh down in there and scrub around and squirt and scrub some more. Put it all back together and it should run better I bet it won't stall or not as often. Worked for me $5 dollar fix in 15 mins. :)
