Changed the low beam bulbs and now the low beam bulbs won't come on

So I was changing the low beam bulbs and now the low beam bulb or DRL does not function. Only the high beam bulbs come on. I even bought a new harness with the sockets and that did not fix it. The old socket was brittle and fell apart.

Dumb question, but is there any reprogramming when changing the headlamp bulbs?

I have a 1998 V70 wagon with the H7 bulbs

Gonna check fuses...hope its that and not something major...electrical is not my favorite.

:D:D:D I started this thread gave advice on this thread to check the fuses and solved the problem lol. Popped that fuse cover and yessir the fuses were blown. Not a real mechanic, but had some sense to remember checking the fuses. I put the new harnesses in and got rid of the old crusty and brittle harness.

Left Low beam not working - FIXED

2005 V70 Left dipped beam headlight not working, all fuses bulb and connections checked. Hooked up VIDA. Turns out if the draw is too much after so many cycles (200?) it cuts off the signal from the CEM. So I had to use VIDA to clear the fault. I then found as soon as the ignition was switched on, the bulb came on and went out straight away. It was a 100w bulb. Replaced it with a 55w and all is good, but you do have to clear the fault.
