Default Potential v70awd buyer

I've always liked the Volvo wagons and I'm on the verge of buying a 1999 awd v70 wagon. Is there anything I should be looking for?

Default Service

Obviously having a good service record is a plus. Especially frequent tire rotations, as not doing so will damage the AWD system. Make sure the PCV system has been done as well, as that is a 300 dollar job just in parts alone.
Keeping a look out for access blow by is also important. And engine growl is an instant no no.

And though I have never had electrical problems of my own I hear that these vehicles can be somewhat prone unfortunately. If you have doubts about anything you can always have a reputable mechanic look at it before hand.

Most v70's are awesome vehicles so you're likely making a good choice=)
Let us know how it turns out.
