After replacement of spark plugs / The car will crank but w
Hello ,
I hope All is well with the both of you. Petra said that you guys might be able to assist with this issue that I’m face with my 2001 Volvo V70 XC AWD 2.4L FI Turbo DOHC 5cyl. I recent purchased the vehicle and I love it!…I start to notice the engine started to run rough and hard. Much different from when I first purchased the car. Please note: that It;s cause by using regular gas instead of premium (New to the game), I do not know ( Main cause of Misfire)
Any lead in the right direction to resolve issues will be greatly appreciate Thanks again Moof |
You need to start by throwing all of your original coil packs in the trash and replacing them with a new inexpensive set readily available. Here's some that we recently purchased:

Use a biodegradable degreasing agent. Then, use compressed air to blow the water out of the plug wells and off the top of the head. Blow the connections to the coils dry. Then, with everything dry, install new coil packs. Replace the oil seal at the oil cap - that's where your oil is coming from. Unhook and reconnect battery, try again. |
Hi Tony1963,
I appreciate the lead you give me...I will pick up some new coils and ooil cap. Thanks agian big volvo brother |
