My cherished V70 -- 2001 with 270K on the odo - is in the shop. The check engine light is on, & the code that appears indicates it's the knock sensor. This is my 'use around town, keep the mileage off the newer car' vehicle. Would love to get (yet) another year out of it. It's up for inspection next month.

I realize that prices will vary depending on the area of the country -- anyone have an idea of what changing out the sensor will run me? Although I do love this car, and it's been the EverReady Bunny for me to date, there is a limitation to matter, and I fear it may be at the end of its lifespan. (sniff, sniff)
