Can’t figure out where part # 8645401 sits

2 Attachment(s)
I have a V70 2.5T 2006 AWD and had to replace the PCV, replace the accessory belt and tensioner, change the oil pump gaskets and crankshaft seal.
The car is almost all reassembled and I’m left with a vent tube Volvo # 8645401.
Can’t figure out where it goes :(
i tried to find the part on Volvo diagrams without luck. I do find the image on google, but can’t figure out where it goes.

Can someone help me get more info on that part and where it goes?

Claudio

:D Welcome to VF Claudio

Sorry, I haven't a clue. I can't find a diagram with it's location either. Hope someone else knows.

Called the Volvo part department in Vancouver and had a chat with them. I sent them the pics and some of the info. The part number is part of a larger part.
It is a vent for the computer module in front of the power steering pump, just behind the windshield washer filler. It is used to cool the computer modules.

Great at help from Greg at Docksteader Volvo in Vancouver ;)

That looks like the air draft tube for the computer box.

Odd thread resurrection.
I've read posts where owners found this tube missing.
The shape of the tube prevents water from entering the box.
