Draining battery on V70 T5 2001

Hi all,

I'm having a battery draining issue with my V70 T5 2001. I was away for three weeks and when I got back when turning the car on I feel a bit of a delay but it turned on no problem.
I went to the gym and 1 hour after when I tried to turn it on I wouldn't. There was lights on the dashboard and it make a clicking noise when turning on the key.
The car got towed to the garage and I was told the battery was drained and it was caused by a triggered alarm. I though it could make sense since my lock on the passenger side is acting funny and sometimes only gets lock manually and I saw an alarm triggered sign on the dashboard.
They charged the battery and it was good to go.

This was two days ago, today the car started fine, went to the gym and same thing. Clicking noise, not turning on.

Anyone knows what might be the problem?

Thank you!

You've beaten the battery to within an inch of its life.
1) Charge the battery again on a good, strong charger out-of-the-car.
2) ...then load test it. You may find the battery is incapable of accepting a full charge.

3) Either go into the RF fender and service the alarm unit (replace batteries if the unit isn't corroded) OR get a new ($ @ dealership) or used alarm (junkyard) OR pull the involved fuse. Sorry, I don't know the number.
