2007 Volvo V70 2.4D Diesel D5 163hp 204000 miles approx

I had a curious thing this morning, went on the weekly shopping expedition, its only a few miles away, four short stops then back home

Nearly home and doing 20mph in our village street and the engine just died, cut out without warning, managed to pull over to the kerb and park but on trying it wouldn't restart

So carried all the shopping home, left it 10 to 15 minutes then went back up to it, first turn over it started up, so I got it home and parked up

Now I am wondering if I can trust it not to happen again

I have had this car nearly three years and never had this before , I just wondered if anyone else has had this happen ?
