Default Need experience with Used V70's

I am considering buying a 02 V70 Wagon 5 cylinder Turbo with 183,000 miles, are there certain things these cars are known for having issues with, there are no apparent problems, but I am concerned with the miles, turbo and such. Any advice would be helpful, can the throttle modules be cleaned instead of replaced, I have read they are common issues that affect idle? Also, are they 200 or 300 thousand mile cars if taken care of?

The obvious answer to this question is yes, BUT the maintenance history to this point, already approaching 200K, has a huge impact on the likelihood of attaining that goal.

They are heavy on plugs. I suggest staying with OE Volvo plugs. O2 Sensors, again, stay with OE fitment (I use Walker $350 there abouts, costly if you have to replace 2). Many different moduals in car too. So best to by a Vadis Dice from eBay at about $150AU, fair enough there a cheap knock off, but they will let you cell all moduals. You can check moduals yourself without reader, turn car to on position, hold the read button (on indicator stalk), and tap the fog light button twice, and the ECU will cycle through DTCs for ya. As pkrface said, providence is important. I paid $500 for my 01 Ser2 V70 wagon. You get what you paid for................
