Need Gear Shifter for My 2001 V70
 

Any suggestions for sourcing a gear shifter or shifter selector module. The plastic on the button cracked and entire shifter probably needs replacing.

How about just a new shift knob? Have replaced many for that problem.

Isnt that the same thing? It is what I put my hand on to shift the gear. The little plastic button that I have to push to engage the movement from Park to Reverse is what broke. Thanks for your question.

It's a dealer part - sure some aftermarket sources (fcp, ipd, Voluparts, etc.) will sell it - in a Volvo box.

Couple of color choices depending on year or VIN, charcoal or grey, and leather or plastic. I'd call your local dealer and ask for price, part number and availability - then decide who to purchase it from. They just pull off (after you release the bottom of the shift boot) , push on - the hardest part is getting the shift boot attached properly to the bottom of the knob (with #3 on the diagram)
