My Volvo V70 2005 has a flat battery. How do I open the hatch?

There is a slot where you can put your key just right of center. I believe there might be a cover if yours hasn't fallen off.

 

Thank you for answering. I can¨t see any slot. There is a hole, but nothing to use with a key. Maybe some models don't have that option.

 

Yeah I think some didn't. There is a battery jump location under the hood. There is the positive location just behind the fuse box covered by a piece of plastic on a hinge. You can connect the negative to any bare metal surface.
