Rough idle: dips to 750ish, then catches up to 1

I've had a few issues with my 2001 V70 lately. We managed to solve a lurching issue from cold engine by replacing the pcv pan and a few plugs & coils. Despite that fix, the car still idles a bit rough. Sitting in park, it dips from 1k down to about 750 rpm, then catches back up. It happens in a consistent manner lately. My shop mentioned something about a throttle module or body that the dealerships have noted as a common culprit but NOT a recall. Is anyone familiar with this and could it be the cause of my irregular idling? Is there something else I'm missing that might not have been addressed when they swapped out the other parts?

He is right, a very common issue. Do a Google search and read up on how to tell if yours has been replaced.

Well phooey. The odd lurching is different now. Instead of revving to catch up its rpm at slow speeds, it seems to be doing so when I'm simply holding steady speed without acceleration. I noticed it on one occasion today (@40mph), shortly after I'd left the house in the morning but it didn't seem to do it after driving a bit, nor did it happen with cruise control on.

Would this issue register a code? I just had my airbags reset and of course, the dealership had to access the computer codes. Nothing but the airbag issue came up.

Yep, it was the throttle body. It finally threw a code so it's replaced now.
