So my girlfriend recently purchased the car mentioned above. We brought the car into get the timing belt replaced and the mechanic said the flex pipe was cracked and it would be an expensive fix. I know the part is welded in and you would have to replace the whole cat. Is there anyway this can be fixed for cheaper?
