non start sometimes

If it is running lean you are either getting too much air or not enough fuel. That should be where thing started. Fuel gauge not working could of been part of the fuel pump, but not the pump itself. Fuel pressure should have been checked as well as Manifold pressure/ boost levels etc. The fuel rail pressure code came up because your sensor was working properly and detected bad pressure in the rail so you replaced that to no effect. The car running lean could be the problem of it not doing well when the car gets hot, a lean engine will burn hotter than an optimal or rich engine. I wouldn't run it long in this condition. I would take it to an actual volvo mechanic if you are not doing the work yourself.

Are you getting good fuel pressure and flow through the injectors? Fuel pressure should be nominal at around 60psi I believe, the scanner will show the nominal value. Test in the computer and with a mechanical pressure gauge off the fuel rail. The fuel level is part of the pump, so I can only assume the pump wasn't installed in the correct position. There is an arrow on it that should be pointing to the back of the car or to the indicator next to the pump if there is one. I wouldn't jump to your ECM yet. You should also check fuel flow through the injectors and make sure its consistent across the board.
For your window and mirrors, these are controlled by the CEM, so I would start with fuses. With the window, is it stopping with the autodown feature but will work properly if you don't use it? If so you can reset the positions by pulling the fuse at the very top and very bottom while its going down. There are some helpful videos on youtube for this, I had to do it on the up part on both front windows in my car. If its not an electrical or memory thing, the window motor could be dying on you.
Also for the fuel rail, there's a black clip that the fuel line goes into to attach it to the fuel rail, held in by 1 screw, make sure that is properly attached to the fuel rail.

To have injectors cleaned properly a shop would need to do them. they clean them while using a machine to pulse them open and closed.
Also if your mirror(s) were bumped into, they need to be reset for automatic folding according to volvos website. Here is a link: https://www.volvocars.com/en-ca/supp...e-door-mirrors
Its for the newer S60s but I am sure it applies to the other models too.
