I have a 2004 C70 Convertible that I really love the sound system in. However, like many people I absolutely hate the temperment of the CD Changer, and also would like to have an in-dash navigation system. I purchased a Pioneer In-Dash Double din nav system, but have no idea how to install it in this car. I know there are some issues with mounting inside the original head unit hole. If anyone has successfully mounted a double din in this car please give me some pointers. Also, this is the same head unit space for many other volvos (I know the S70's are the same). One final thing is I would like to keep the surround sound too, is there a way to keep the center speaker working with this new install?

Yes, you can keep your surround sound... assuming that the Pioneer deck you have has a center out and u have an amp that will power it. Otherwise youll likely have to just "creat" a virtual center speaker using L+ and R-. Which can be bad for the H/U. Youll of course need to get an install kit to make the HU fit in.
