I took out my head unit to see if ther was an AUX input. there were two circle inputs of some kind ais there an adapter i can get for an 1/8" audio cable.

 

What kind of stereo? Those two round inputs are probably RCA jacks. If they are, then they're outputs.

Most aftermarket stuff has some kind of BUS connection. Typically, you can find a connection to RCA that you can use for an aux input. Usually they're for CD changers or media brains. If it's not an aftermarket stereo then it gets tricky. I've found aftermarket adapters for OEM stereos but never for a Volvo.
