Default Removing dashboard disk for car electronic?

Hi,

I have sticked and used the dashboard disk in my car to mount a Garmin C330 gps unit for years. Now, I am selling the car to another person and the buyer is asking me to remove this dashboard disk. However, this disk thing stick to the dashboard like crazy. I don't want to risk damaging the board surface by removing the disk with a chisel. Is there another easier way to remove this disk? Thank you.

Easiest would be to use a bone tool(plastic interior panel remover tool) to slowly peel the disk off. You could always try dental floss like you were removing a body emblem.
