dead lock no key :-(
 
hi guys I got a c30 with a flat batt. I have a working remote but no blade. as car batt. dead cant open the car ..tried wedging the door n pulled inside door handle no use as last locked from outside with remote (hence dead lock ..door handle will raise the push nob but still wont unlock) ive tried the bonnet (hood) & can reach the release leaver but still nothing happens... anybody got any ideas ??

Call a locksmith. that is what they do all day.

I had the same problem with a Jeep Liberty. The external door lock cylinder was not connected to the internal mechanism and the battery went dead for non-use.

I tried everything but I ended up breaking the side window to get into the car. The replacement glass was about $65 and two hours time to clean up and replace. It was the least expensive option and it worked.

If you are going to break the glass, wear face and eye protection and use caution as the tempered glass will go everywhere.
