New member in George, South Africa.
2009 XC70 D5 Geartronic bought new. Loving it now at 105k kms. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. My only complaint is the rear wheel alignment - there is no means of adjusting camber. The rear tyres are showing obvious wear in the inside edges. HAs anyone out there experience of this? How do you address the problem?

Hi All

I own a 2012 Ford Kuga 2.5T AWD and wanted to find out some information regarding polestar for my Kuga and if it can be loaded yes it's a ford but it's actually a Volvo lol.

Would I be able to get Polestar loaded onto my Kuga from one of the dealers? The issue I am having is that due to the ECU being locked we are unable to flash the software through the OBD port and will require us to open up the ECU and bench flash it. Could anyone assist and is the 2.5T XC60's ECu locked too and other Volvo cars using the same engine?

Look forward to chatting to you all.

Hi Malcolm , nice to hear of more Volvo fans in S.A , New S60 is stunning . I must say my existing 2004 S60 2.0 T is 10 years old now , wow , this cars holds up well . There have been no breakdowns at all , no major repairs , just routine maintenance , also cabin is almost rattle-free & tight even after spending the last 10 years on Gautengs roads . S60 is a magic car if you maintain & drive it well...

Thanks Meltrev. I am now retired and this is probably the last car I will ever buy so I wanted a car that was comfortable, safe, reliable and well equiped. I am surprised however that they are not more popular. I know a chap in UK who is a traffic cop who use Volvo Station Wagons (I have no idea which model they use, I must ask him sometime) as their chase car, he reckons they are extremely reliable, one of their cars clocked up a massive amount of mileage (300,000 miles plus) before being sold off.

I'm a stickler for servicing and preventative maintenance so the five year service plan is going to come in very handy. Your car sounds brilliant, any photo's?

I recently bought an XC60 D5, 2017 demo model. Fantastic car, but it seems to constantly have a ****le that needs attention. Two weeks ago the soot filter warning light came on. I was informed that you need to get the engine up to full operating temperature from time to time and that would then automatically blow the soot filter clean.??
The following week, I noticed a distinct jerk when the engine was hot and I engaged either forward or reverse. Volvo downloaded the latest transmission software and that seemed to solve the problem....what next??

Default Vuyo

Hi, I owne a 2006 Volvo S40 1.8 petrol non turbo. My problem is, i have a rough idle, stalling, hesitating, no power and too much heat on the engine. I have replaced few parts on the car: Fuel pressure sensor, Oxygen Sensors both, Intake Manifold and Checked the the EGR Valve it was cleaned. The fuel pump has been checked also. But the car is doing the same problem that I've mentioned above. Any one can help please.

Default 2011 V50 2.0 Powershift

Hi all,

I just bought a V50 x-hand (no records, but in good condition for its age). This will be my "last" vehicle as I am a pensioner that like some space. I am in the process of converting it for myself (disabled person) and was wondering if anybody else have done this to a V50. I have been doing the conversions for all the vehicles I previously owned, but have a bit of a "problem" with this vehicle's exhilirator pedal. If anybody have any ideas, I would appreciate any suggestions.

Regards,
Feetloose
