2007 Volvo S40 2.4i - Cabin Filter

Has anyone changed their own cabin air filter? It's in a tight spot and I have always allowed Volvo service to change it. But it's much cheaper to buy and install myself and I'm getting brave enough to attempt.
Any suggestions on removal & install and on brand??
