Cost of fixing Head Gasket of 1996 Volvo 960
 

I really need some help badly. I just bought a 1996 Volvo 960 recently, and as I took it for oil change. They told me that there is water in my oil, and that there is a possibility that my head gasket have blown. Now these guys have no idea how much it would cost for me to get my head gasket fixed. I really wanna know how much the job would cost me to get everything fixed, and get it running? I dont wanna take it to a mechanic and be shell shocked. Please, if anyone has any idea then please help. Thanx
