ok so call me crazy.. but i'm thinking about dropping an LS1 engine and tranny into a 90" 740 GLE.

thing is, i don't know as much as i should about my car.. so i'm wondering if all u guys that have the experience and knowledge could help me out on if it'd be somewhat of an easy swap or maybe the LS1 engine with a diff compatilbe tranny.

It can be done but I don't know all the specifics.
I have seen many with the 350 in it with a Chevy tranny.

I have also seen alot with the 302 engine in it.

the ls1 engine is a great engine, i have alot of exp and knowledge about that engine, i used to have a 99 Z28.
