			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>Hi, I am new but have been meaning to join for a while. I am doing some cosmetic repairs to my 940 sedan (1994). My front bumper has been coming off on the passenger side. I wanted to buy OEM parts for this but when I ordered these from Volvo Dealer Parts they charged me, processed my order, then cancelled it and said the parts they listed are discontinued. I'm still like why do they list parts they don't have? But anyway...<br />
<br />
Does anyone have advice on basic parts I can buy to replace my bumper attachment bolts and clips?<br />
I am looking for equivalents to:<br />
Bumper Cover Guide Bracket (1392927)<br />
Filler Strip Retainer Clip (3536522)<br />
Bumper Cover Bolt (986984) - could I just drill new holes and put nuts/bolts in to attach the bumper back on?<br />
<br />
I know this issue is pretty basic - I've just never done any work on my car's body before. The engine is perfect so I just want it to look nice too!<br />

I appreciate any advice. Thank you.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>My 92 240 with 132k on the clock ended up with a dead battery over the winter. I gave the battery a full charge to full and within a week it was dead again. I wanted to see if there was a parasitic drain going on and came up with these readings. See attached pictures.<br />
Does it look like a parasitic drain or just an old battery that is not holding a charge?<br />

But we can barely hear the music. The old belts squeak, making Oleo (his name) sound like the ants from the movie Them. <br />
<br />
I once heard of a product called “belt dressing.” Would that help or hurt? <br />

Currently idles about 2k rpm. I've already replaced all of the cracking vacuum lines and there's no change in rpm when spraying brake cleaner around the areas of intake that I thought could be leaking (gaskets, around the accordion tube before the throttle body, anywhere where there's a vac line connection, etc.). That being said, I'm pretty confident it's not a vacuum leak. The engine does die when I block off the tube to the idle air control valve, so I don't think it's a big air leak after the throttle. When I ground the test wire to shut off the IAC valve the rpm only drops to about 1500 (or a little over that) and when I tested the IAC valve (according to the Bentley book's instructions) it seems fine. When I unplug the MAF, it drops a few hundred rpm before climbing back up. If it's not a failing IAC valve or massive vacuum leak, what could cause such a high idle? Does anyone have idea on what else I should be checking for?<br />

I had a 1986 740 GLE with the 2.2LH and after I crashed it I pulled the motor and harness from the car. Now that I have a 240 I want to convert it from carbureted to EFI but I need a little help understanding the system better, what parts are needed and how to wire its inorder to work. I do want to keep the points ignition system it currently has due to lack of money. Can anyone help with this conversion? </div>
