2000 s80 turbo
 

engine wont accelerate and now overheating. while driving slow in town or on freeway, suddenly car won't accelerate. it doesn't shut off, just goes to about 1,000 rpm or so and warning says stop engine and re-start. we pull over and takes approx. 3-5 min with engine off until it will re-start and then will run normal. second issue doesn't seem related as it just started is overheating. checked fan and there is power to fan motor but doesn't run. how do you troubleshoot temp control sensor? thank you. I have fan out and looking for new part. not sure if temp control sensor is reason fan doesn't work. there is power to the fan at the plug and past that control senser mounted on shroud and then right up to fan motor itself
