Hi, I would like to have my account deleted and therefore tried contacting the webmaster. However, I haven't heard back from him. Does anyone know how to get this done?

Memberships don't get deleted.
You may well be back sometime in the future ?
Many do return to Volvo's after a break.

Just change the information and abandon the account. It isn't like you had to give a credit card to sign up.
