2002 S60 T5 Dashboard instruments dead
Although car is a 2002, there is only 129,800 kms on the vehicle. I am getting a costly runaround as dealers are telling me they have never seen this problem before.
Car runs fine, but most of the time the dashboard indicators are not working. Cannot see my speed, gas gauge, clock, or any other gauge. Turn signals, headlights, radio works.
Once in a while, it clicks on for a few moments - then dark again. Mechanics have told me that I have to replace the whole dashboard cluster with a new computer + about 6 hours of labor. I don't have that kind of money. Is there a fix to this?

I was in the same shoes a couple weeks ago. Local volvo dealership quoted me around $1200 for a replacement cluster. After doing some research i found a company that repairs them automotive circuit solutions. So i sent it off to them it was only $130. Here is the link to there website. oh and its fairly easy to remove yourself there are several videos on youtube how to do it.
is a good one
