2013 XC60 - only 28,000 miles caught FIRE!

Bought it new, maintained on schedule. I have an extended warranty bought at time of purchase. The SUV is normally kept in an attached garage.

I was driving home from the doctor, I saw the coolant warning sign come on. Immediately pulled to side of road. I did not notice fire immediately, but 2 great Samaritans did. They put it out quickly Along with the Sheriff & Fire Dept.

I was towed into my local Volvo dealership. The service guys first words were - "take it to the body shop". The car would not START. His next wotds were - " what did YOU HIT". He had not even looked at my SUV.
Insurance company says car is totaled because the engine needs replacement, along with body work.

I did notice on the last 2 service reports - Volvo part 977751-7 oil pan drain gasket was replaced. Is this normal for a SUV approx 18,000 miles and then again at 24,000 miles?

I can pick up my insurance check, but it is certainly not replacement value.
There is no way i can buy a "like" vehicle for this money

In my humble opinion, shouldn't Volvo's warranty and/or extended warranty be responsible for this fire damage.

The local dealership won't even look at the SUV, pull the radiator out
Or try anything to figure out the cause.

Any advice would help??
