cannot install VIDA software
I am Running Win 7 Home Premium
I upgraded to IE11 even though I think IE9 is preferred as there is no way to install IE9 anymore as Microsoft doesn't supply it. As soon as I run the install I get this error: One or more of the computer's components does not fulfill VIDAs requirements. Install will be aborted. But it doesn't tell me what! I have 32bit, 4Gb RAM, 54Gb free space. Any ideas what to do? |
It requires older versions of .net and ie I believe. If you're doing this on win7 there some utilities out there to do this. I'll ask my buddy and get the name of what he used.

It needs to be win7 pro not home. You can upgrade using the upgrade tool, I found a free licence online. Then the install works. You might get a blank webpage when first starting and you have to go into services.msc and makes sure all Vida under SQL server are on automatic start then restart computer. |
what VIDA version did you install
If it is 2014 version (A or D), VDIA should be loaded well on win 7 professional (IE8) i wonder 32 bit will not work this is the VIDA 2014D on win 7 operation video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-ErfTlurK8 |
