Default How to change a S60 water pump?

Good day all

Would any one be able to assist with a step by step guide on how to change the water pump on a S60 2.4T, or even just a layout of the engine?
Its a 2004 Volvo 2.4 turbo 5 cyl and a manual transmission. Sorry I dont know what the engine code is.

PLEASE HELP!!!

It's probably behind the timing belt meaning you will have to take the timing belt off to replace the water pump. You may want to check the S60 section and post the question there.

The water pump is driven off the cambelt but it is not normal practice replace pump when the belt is renewed, if the pump has great play in bearings or leaking, so OT would be wise to replace it. To make a pump at a later stage, it is not an excellent job.

i strongly recommend you get a tech to do this kind of job. for s60 the water pump is driven by the timing belt. so in order to do that u need to re & re the timing belt & readjust the tensioner & timing to the correct spec. if a timing belt or tensioner incorrectly installed, it could led to as little as misfire, check engine light or something worst "AN ENGINE".
