How Much $$$ to Get Car Painted?
 

Hi There — I have a 1991 240 that I'm looking to get re-painted. The car was keyed 15 years ago and the current paint is oxidized from the San Francisco air.

Is there a cheap but efficient way to get the car looking new(er) or is it going to cost me?

Go to a couple body shops. Price varies depending on quality and prep work.

If the paint is just oxidated, you should first take it to a detail shop and get them if they can buff it out. As far as the scratches, wait until you see what the car looks like after the buff and then find a bodyshop that can do a blow in. You'll save thousands!
