i have just ordered a filter from the local performance shop. i read a forum on this site saying that K&N filters were bad. I have a S80, and help will be appriceated. please tell me anything you guys know about this, i do not want to ruin anything in the car, because these cars are very picky.

 

Have one in my S40. Dont overoil it when you clean it as you might get oil in your engine management unit and cause some problems. Other than that -I cant think of any reason not to use one.BJ

Clean your MAF..............OFTEN. Failure to do so will result in your purchasing replace ments...............OFTEN. The hot wire in the MAF does not like oil.
