Local Volvo shops

So it hits me the other day, there don't seem to be too many Volvo shops in my area. So I was wondering if we could start a thread on local shops we like. I knew a good volvo guy where I used to live that didn't advertise being a volvo guy. I know members here seem to be mostly DIYers, but a shop always comes in handy. I have been using
Norton Auto Service
Eldridge, IA
563-285-6594
Does a really good job. Prices seem fair. Anyone else?

Rancho Cucamonga, CA (East of LA).
Traynor's Volvo, an independent service place. This guy is fairly expensive--less than the dealers--but very, very good. He just did a new clutch on my 89 740 Wagon and it's now smooth as silk and light as a feather. Tim Traynor is a certified Volvo guy who's been on his own for 17 years. He's sharp and knows what he's doing.
There's another place in Upland, CA nearby, which is a bit less expensive. It's on the north side of Foothill Blvd towards Claremont. I don't have the address or the name of the place, but that guy's been there for quite a while.
Near the coast, West of LA is "The Dr." who specializes in Volvo. He's top knotch. Wish he was closer to me because he has quite a good reputation. Laguna Beach, CA, I think.

Chicago Area:
Patrick Volvo in Schaumburg:
http://www.patrickvolvo.com/index.htm?bhcp=1
(Their web page plays annoying song so you might want to hit the "X" button on your browser)
Not cheap but the job will be done right the first time.
Vermont (Rutland) Area:
Jim's Imported Car Clinic:
Jim has worked on European & Japanese makes for years, and hasseveral factory training certificates. Jim mostly works on Volvos & Saabs, and is a Master ASE certified. Tech reminds me of Jim a lot, in terms of expertise. Jim allowed me to stay in his shop and let me watch while he worked on my Accord, back in my college years. Unlike average mechanic, Jim sort of looks like, well, Bill Gates and is extremely sharp. Jim allows you to bring parts, except he charges more for labour if you bring in your parts.
P.S: Recommendations from others, who have not much knowledge in cars, is almost always useless.

Precision Volvo in Colonie NY is a local independant where I take mine and is popular with many other local Volvo owners.
If you are in the Albany NY area and need to go to a dealer I have had good experinces with Capital Volvo.
Ithaca Foreign Car service in Ithaca NY is another good Volvo shop

Greetings from Yokohama, Japan.
Central Mass, hmmmm...
Other than the stealership (http://www.volvocars.us/tools/Dealer...stalCode=01749), I do not know of an independent/specialised shop in MA.
BTW, I graduated from The Winchendon School in '92. My friend has now become the dean of the students.
Sorry couldn't help you much.

Northern Colorado:
In Fort Collins, CO:
Pedersen Toyota-Scion-Volvo
4455 South College Ave
Fort Collins, CO 80525
They have outstanding customer service and are always friendly and pleasant to deal with. One parts guy spent 30 minutes helping me figure out what clips I needed to reattach the under headlight trim piece on our 850, showed me the schematics on where they went, how to attach them and ordered them on the spot. $3.00 each or something. I don't normally take cars to dealers for repairs, but when I don't have time to do it myself, or don't know how to fix it myself, I have no problem taking it to them.
