this comes up when ever I drive my 2006 v70r.

You need to have the diagnostic codes read. Note not all budget OBD2 readers can read the ABS and chassis codes so ask if you are renting one from Autozone, or have a shop view the codes for you. Most likely its a wheel speed sensor but could be related to the ABS computer board or other parts. The codes will help pinpoint the fault.

Is a defective wheel speed sensor the reason why the awd doesn’t hook up?
